I have been in a down-sizing mode for a while, blowing dust off books, discs & assorted paraphernalia, deciding what I can live with or without.
I have found a little green covered book
‘Shakspere’s Songs & Sonnets’, which I picked up some 50 years or so.
I have been trying to get some information on it and keep hitting a dead wall.
I finally found a connection which sent me to the British museum site, with pertinent information.

I sent them a line requesting further info as to the book’s rarity, as I couldn’t find a trace of it anywhere, except at the museum (and my bookshelf).

I will probably want to keep it, but I can’t help being curious about it’s rarity, scarcity, value etc.

Anybody here with far more Shakespeare knowledge than I, may give me a handle. The spelling is different because I believe that’s how the bard’s name was spelt in those days.

Greatly appreciate any assistance from those reading this, former forensic detectives, MI5, 6 or 7 & 8 even, and those belonging to secret organisations who wish to help with no exposure promised.
Thanks all
Adam
