Of course, this error is why it’s no surprise that it explains nothing about how/why herd immunity develops even with mild, largely nonlethal viruses/bacteria, and where the fatality rate is near zero. Herd immunity has nothing to do with lethality, and proceeds irrespective of how many die of the illness.
